Jackpot Dining is a unique restaurant that combines the gourmet-style of Chinese cuisine with a quick-service format. The majority of our dishes can be prepared and served within two to five minutes after the order is placed. This is one of the reasons why Jackpot Dining has enjoyed such popularity among its customers.
All ingredients are prepared and cooked on site; Jackpot does not out-source any of its operation. Food hygiene and food safety has been put as top priority in the back house operation. The company has its own temperature controlled food transportation vehicle as well as insulated carriers to preserve food quality. Refrigerator temperatures are monitored daily. The open design kitchen enables customers to see for themselves how food is handled and prepared by our kitchen staff.
To ensure we serve only the best to our valued customers, we pay special attention to food quality. Raw materials are sourced directly from local farmers and butcher. Our noodles are delivered daily by the local noodle maker based in Fortitude Valley, our vegetables are also sourced from the Brisbane Market every morning or delivered by farmers.
Jackpot's first takeaway business concept, called Jackpot Noodles, opened its door on George Street, opposite to the Treasury Casino in 1999, hence the name 'Jackpot'. The original Jackpot Noodles could only seat 20 people and only had 6 items on the menu.
Its success proved the feasibility of the concept, the market craved for a quality Asian cuisine at an affordable price and exceptional speed. That inspired the launch of the first Jackpot Noodles Restaurant on Albert Street in Brisbane CBD.
Early 2004, Jackpot Noddles opened another restaurant in the highly populated university suburb of Toowong. In 2005, The very first Jackpot van set its wheel on the road. April 2006 the company opened its fourth restaurant in the trendy inner city suburb of West End.
Our Functions and Catering Services established. To date we have catered guests from the local community as well as corporations such as ANZ, Flight Centre, The University of Queensland.
We bade farewell to 'Jackpot Noodles' and said hello to 'Jackpot Dining' to better align with our quick service Chinese restaurant model. We also introduced the Jackpot Roasting station across our restaurant outlets. In line with our rebranding, Jackpot Dining Albert Street also moved to the store next door in 2010 with a matching interior design, followed by Jackpot Dining Toowong in 2011.
To cater for the growing demand, our 5th restaurant, the 2nd outlet in the CBD, opened its door in mid 2013 on Elizabeth Street in Brisbane.
In 2019, we make a move to the new urban dining playground UPSTAIRS Toombul.
In late 2019, Jackpot Dining continues to strive and laid on a heritage building at Kelvin Grove.
